When did I become an Eli Roth fan? I didn't love Cabin Fever and Hostel mostly just annoyed me. But Hostel 2 was such a glorious scimitar-slashed ladybath in ladyblood I might just be a fan for life, and the above video, his Grindhouse trailer for a never-made Thanksgiving-themed slasher pic, so perfectly captures the crappy texture and tone of so many early 80's no-budge slasher pics I keep discovering new references or even just similarities to/with other horror movies every time I watch it.
